Vitamin C

Vitamin C - Normal skin contains high concentrations of vitamin C, which stimulates the synthesis of collagen and assists in antioxidant protection against UV-induced photodamage. Vitamin C is particularly effective at reducing oxidative damage to the skin when it is used in conjunction with vitamin E, which is why we’ve teamed them up in Glow & Grow! Contributes to the maintenance of normal skin Contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of skin Contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress Contributes to the regeneration of the reduced form of vitamin E Acts as a co-factor for the proline & lysine hydroxylases that stabilise the collagen molecule. This reaction is dependent on Vitamin C.

Vitamin B7

Vitamin 7 (or Biotin) is a water-soluble B vitamin, also referred to as Vitamin B7. Often used for skin conditioning, Biotin has been seen as the go-to vitamin for beauty ever since one pilot study in women with brittle nails showed supplementation to be beneficial. Interestingly, it was originally known as Vitamin H, the H representing ‘Haar und Haut’, German for hair and skin – the newer name Biotin comes from the Ancient Greek work ‘biotos’ meaning ‘sustenance’ or ‘life’. Biotin deficiency leads to thinning of hair, brittle nails and skin rashes. We’ve teamed Bitoin here with Zinc and vitamin C for optimal results.

Zinc & Copper

Zinc plays an important role in the three skin functions: morphogenesis (initial shape generation), repair, and maintenance. Approximately 6% of the total concentration of the body’s zinc is located in the skin, predominantly in the epidermis which has 5 times the levels of the dermis. A daily intake of Zinc is required because the body has no way to store it long-term. Symptoms of zinc deficiency may contribute to the maintenance of normal skin, hair & nails.

Copper is a component of essential enzymes Cuproenzymes, responsible for essential metabolic processes such as the synthesis of melanin in the skin, hair and eyes as well as cross-linking of collagen, the structural components in the skin. Melanin, the pigment in your skin and hair, serves as a filter for the protection of tissues against ultraviolet light damage. There have also been associations suggested between lack of copper and increased skin pigmentation (such as dark spots) and potentially premature greying. Essential for hair, nail and connective tissue formation. Grapeseed

When should I take my Supplement?

Our Nutritionist to take your supplement first thing in the morning with food. We recommend that, you do no take your supplement with Coffee or Tea.

Can I take this tablet alongside medication?

We recommend that if you take any regular medication that you speak to your Doctor or Pharmacist before taking Glow and Grow Capsules.

Can children take this capsule?

This formulation has been created for adults 18 years and older. This is because the nutrient reference values (NRVs) are suited to the daily requirements of people 18 and older. Therefore, we would not recommend giving Glow and Grow Capsules to a child.

How long do I need to take the supplement before I can see an effect?

You will need to consistently take the supplement for at least 3 weeks before seeing an effect. Each pouch of capsule supplements contains a 3 months supply.

Should I use any products alongside the Glow and Grow Capsules?
