Spinach Powder - Popeye was definitely on to something with his gusto for guzzling strength-giving spinach. The dark green leafy vegetable is the most potent in its powder form, offering beneficial levels of Calcium, Potassium, Magnesium, Iron, Zinc, Copper, Manganese, Vitamin K and two forms of Vitamin A. It also scores highly when it comes to antioxidants, with an ORAC Score of 1515-1687 – that’s Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity. Absorb those free radicals! Source of Calcium, Potassium, Magnesium, Iron, Zinc, Copper, Manganese, Vitamin K and two forms of Vitamin.

Kale Powder - Kale one of the best sources of vitamin K, with a single raw cup containing almost 7 times the recommended daily amount.  Like Broccoli and other Brassica vegetables, kale powder contains the super-ingredient, Sulphoraphane. It’s also high in vitamin B1 (Thiamin), B2 (Riboflavin), B3 (Niacin), Iron and Phosphorus. Kale contains antioxidants like Quercetin and Kaempferol - about 4.5 times much as spinach - as well as small amounts of alpha linolenic-acid – a beneficial omega-3 fatty acid. Unlike some leafy greens, it’s also low in oxalate, a substance found in some plants that can prevent minerals from being absorbed.

Wheatgrass is sourced from the freshly sprouted first leaves of the common wheat plant Triticum Aestivum if you want to get fancy.As well as being jam-packed with vitamins, minerals and fibre it’s also a great source of protein, boasting 17 amino acids, including 8 out of the 9 essential amino acids. It’s rich in antioxidants too, with an Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity (ORAC) of 3,990 – 4,820 per 100 grams. It’s one of the greenest of the greens – literally. Thanks to its high levels of chlorophyl it’s sometimes known as green blood!
