The refillable jar is all part of our sustainable, plastic-free and zero-waste ethos. The capsules are packaged in compostable packaging, and although food safe, the compostable packages have a shorter shelf life than your traditional plastic packaging. If the compostable pack is exposed to heat, moisture or humidity it can degrade and therefore affect the quality and potency of the ingredients. Therefore we recommend transferring your supplements into the refillable jar to maintain their efficacy. A common problem with supplements is that you put the packet away and forget to routinely take them. We created a beautiful glass jar that seamlessly fits into your kitchen, bathroom or bedside table decor to help you to make taking your daily dose habitual.

We have opted for glass as it’s a sustainable material that required no plastic parts to be durable, hardy and long wearing. Better yet it’s sleek design looks every bit the part on your nightstand or in your bathroom.

Believe it or not, the amber colour of the jar isn’t just a design choice. Amber glass is has UV-protective powers. This means that when the sun is shining on your supplements, valuable light-labile nutrients are not lost.

The metal screw top lid removes the need for a plastic topper. Moreover, a screw top prevents air or moisture reaching your supplements and leaching valuable nutrients.

Simply open your packet of We are Nutrified supplements and pour the pouch contents into the refillable jar. Compost the pouch with your veggie scraps, then, unfold your jar hanger. Place the hanger hole over the top of the jar. Then screw the lid back on the jar.

Yes, always clean your jar between uses. We recommend handwashing the jar using standard washing up liquid and warm water. Do not use a dishwasher.
